Book of Proverbs

What is wisdom?

After reading the Book of Proverbs, write down some phrases that touched my heart.

Book of Proverbs

/images/proverbs.jpg

The Book of Proverbs (Hebrew: מִשְלֵי, Mīšlē, “Proverbs of Solomon”) is a book in the third section (called Ketuvim) of the Hebrew Bible.

Tanakh, Hebrew Bible

Book of Proverbs

Proverbs is not merely an anthology but a “collection of collections” relating to a pattern of life which lasted for more than a millennium.

Although most of this book identifies Solomon as its author, not all of it is attributed to him. This book itself also emphasizes that this book is a collection of proverbs of many people.

Book of Proverbs
